This foundation was dug far to close to this large Cottonwood tree. 50% of the root system was completely destroyed by the excavation, the remaining root system was severely damaged by construction activities. This tree was condemned by city officials and had to be removed before they would allow construction to resume. This dramatically added to the cost of the project.
